FAQ

  • How is this different from seeing a dietitian or doctor?

Unlike dietitians who use conventional nutrition protocols, NTPs are holistic practitioners who focus on natural, whole-food-based nutrition and lifestyle changes to support optimal wellness, particularly for people with chronic symptoms or health goals not addressed by conventional care.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Nutritional therapy is not covered by insurance at this time. However, I can provide invoices for HSA/FSA reimbursement if applicable. Payment plans are also available. I accept payment via cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.

  • Can I work with you if I have a medical condition?

Yes, however, nutritional therapy does not diagnose or treat disease. I work alongside your healthcare team to support your body naturally. Always consult your doctor before making changes to your diet or supplement routine.

  • Who is this program for?

This program is ideal for individuals looking to improve digestion, energy levels, hormonal balance, mood, skin health, weight management, or chronic health concerns using a natural, root-cause approach.

  • I don't experience gut issues, can a GI-MAP still be helpful?

When people hear “gut dysbiosis,” they often think of bowel issues like constipation, diarrhea, upset stomach, or bloating. But that's not the only way gut dysbiosis manifests. Did you know it can also show up as things like acne, eczema, allergies, or migraines?

  • What are your certifications?

In 2023, I graduated from the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I also have a background in social work and trauma-informed care.
